Here is a seriously cool video from a nest over in Scotland. To set the stage, one of three eggs have hatched, one is in the process of hatching, and one is still just an egg. The male brings in a fish, still very much alive. As the adults lose control of the fish, it flips around the nest and gives the egg that is hatching a hand (a fin?) in getting out of the shell. Once they've gotten the fish out of the way, watch the way the female balls up her feet as she moves around the eggs and young and how delicately she steps. Those talons are really sharp and really dangerous to day-old Osprey chicks.
